Settings: Editor

The Editor section controls how Semantic Modeler handles your model files.

• Default save format: Choose between TMDL (recommended for Git) or BIM (single JSON file).
• Preview row limit: How many rows to show in the data preview panel (10 to 10,000; default is 50).
• Auto-save interval: How often the app saves your work automatically (0 to 300 seconds; default is 30). Set to 0 to disable.
• Default model culture: The locale used for new models, which affects date, time, and currency formatting. Defaults to en-US.
